Birds of Mount Abu in the last week of January 2023.
In the last week of January, I observed a diverse range of migratory and resident bird species. Green-winged Teal, Common Pochard, Northern Shoveler, Northern Pintail, and Gadwall. The Bonelli’s Eagle, a magnificent bird of prey, inhabits many parts of Europe and Asia, while the Common Buzzard and Long-Legged Buzzard are common raptors in various regions worldwide, but they are rare in Abu.
Overall, I could. Capture some great photos of these birds, and it was an exciting experience. It also thrilled Mohan, who accompanies me on most of my birding trips to capture some excellent photos of the Black Eagle and the Long-legged Buzzard. Appreciate the collection I put together in the last week of January.
