Birds Mount Abu February 2023.

Birds of Mount Abu in the second week of February 2023.

February is an exciting month for birdwatchers across the world because it marks the beginning of the spring migration for many bird species. As the weather warms up in the Northern Hemisphere, birds start to travel from their wintering grounds in the south to their breeding grounds in the north. During this time, birdwatchers can observe a diverse range of species passing through their local areas, including songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, and shorebirds. During this time, visitors can spot Black Stork, Black Eagle, Green-winged Teal, and Bonelli's Eagle in Mount Abu.

Besides the excitement of seeing these migratory birds, February is also an ideal time for birdwatchers to participate in citizen science projects. Examples include the Great Backyard Bird Count or the Campus Bird Count. These initiatives encourage bird enthusiasts to record their sightings and contribute to a larger scientific understanding of bird populations and movements.
