What a treat buzzards are RARE, especially the Common Buzzard. Today I photographed two Common Buzzards and a Long-legged buzzard. Appreciate the slide show I have prepared.

Birds of Mount Abu Birds in December 2019.

Abu will soon be bustling with people as Christmas is just 6 days away. Quite a few holidaymakers make it up the hill to enjoy the chill of Abu and enjoy their stay here. Abu is not a popular spot for birders. They prefer other places like Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Ranthambhore National Park, Desert National Park, and Bund Baretha. Back to our birding in the abode of the gods.

A RARE visitor to our area recorded this species once before.

Over the last few days, I Recently, noticed that whenever a Eurasian Sparrowhawk appears, the pigeons in the area fly away together in a group towards the predator in an attempt to defend themselves. and able to drive him out of this place. They appear to have developed a defensive strategy of keeping the would-be predator at bay.
