Devi Singh, my close buddy, has been a loyal partner in these experiences, sharing in the thrill of fishing, hiking, and unraveling the secrets that lay inside this captivating region.

My stories about Bera provoke sceptical replies from the inexperienced. “Mate, you’ve been in the desert too long; you’re hallucinating,” they said, joking.
