Babblers--Passeriformes- Timaliidae

The babblers or timaliids exhibit some diversity in colouration but are characterized by soft fluffy plumage. There are 117 species, which occur in India. India has the largest number of babblers of any country, representing the largest bird family grouping in any country outside of South America.
