I observed migratory and local birds in November 2020.
Birding in November has had its difficulties. Ever since the lockdown was lifted, Mount Abu has become a hotspot tourist destination. They have thrown most of the time caution to the wind not adhering to the protocols laid down. Tourists behave as if the pandemic is over a very dangerous situation for themselves and for us Abuites.
Once this Diwali season is over, Abu will see a drop in the volume of tourists. I will definitely feel at home and will go about my winter birding in a more peaceful frame of mind. Appreciate my contribution to keeping a record of birds in this part of the world.
Birding first week of November.
