Birding during LOCKDOWN Mount Abu 2020

Continuing my posting of birds photographed in April 2020. The lockdown is still in place.

Crested Bunting Melophus lathami: Is a Resident. I believe that way back when Mt Abu was known as ABOO these birds were one of the commonest birds, today I see them in small batches in certain areas of Abu.

Eurasian Sparrowhawk Accipiter nisus: Winter visitor. Rare visitors of late, I have seen quite a number of them.

This year I notice some of these birds had arrived in small flocks. They are regular.
Winter visitors.

The Green Munia  - Amandava formosa: is seen throughout Abu.
