Mount Abu Birds in October 2019.mountabubirds.blogspot.com

Birds of Mount Abu in October.

31 October 2019.
Birding in October 2019 for me was good but not exceptional. I was hoping for better coverage. Throughout the month Mother Nature played spoilt sport, overcast skies were the order of the days. Hopefully from tomorrow, we in Abu get to see clearer days. Birders take note post-Diwali week Abu is not the place to be in. It is overcrowded, with far too much vehicular movement and hotel and guest room tariffs are extremely high.

Common Tailorbird - Orthotomus sutorius

Indian Silverbill - Euodice malabarica

Laughing Dove - Streptopelia senegalensis

Scaly-breasted Munia - Lonchura punctulata
