Birding In the Last Week of March Mount Abu
This year Holi which fell on the 20 March 2019, ushered in the Spring. Spring be hanged it feels like Summer has been ushered in. The days have turned very warm these last few day daytimes temperature going up to 35 degrees C. Birding from now on is pleasant early morning and late evening. Appreciate my small collection of birdshot in the last week of March.

The water body that is frequented by the migratory ducks is fondly called our duck pond here in Abu. It's a relatively small water body and by the end of March it dries up. This was my last visit to it for the stragglers that might be there. There were a handful of Common Teals, some sandpipers, Black-winged Stilts and Red-wattled lapwings.
