Indian Vulture Gyps indicus is also known as the Long-billed Vulture: Used to be a Resident. Till the early seventies, these birds were a common sight here in Mount Abu. These birds also nested here. After the eighties, this bird became a rarity, if someone spotted one, it was a joy for the birder to spot him.
