Birding in Gujarat Ahmedabad.
I did not do much birding while I was in Gujarat, as most parks and sanctuaries were closed because of the pandemic. The Gujarat Govt has set a tentative date "of 15 October 2020" for the opening of these places. I did a spot of birding in the concrete jungle. I visited a place called the Kanjari Deer Park, an open semi-grassland about seven km from Thol Bird Sanctuary. I did spot wildlife there. Blackbuck was in small herds, and amongst them, I recorded an albino. (Kanjari Deer Park, click the link to see) There were a few birds at this place, as the bulk of the migratory birds were yet to arrive in this area. I'm posting a small collection of birds photographed while in Gujarat.
21 Sept to 27 Sept 2020.
