Mount Abu Birds in December 2019.

"The Mini Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary Mount Abu.I call it our Duck Pond."
The Mini Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary Mount Abu.

Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary, also fondly called the Abode Of Gods, the oldest of hills in the Aravali range has its share of birds and wild animals. Internet sources claim that Abu has over 250 bird species. I am sceptical of this claim, being a long-time resident of this unique hill station. It's doubtful if the number of today counts by various agencies can claim to even record 200 speciesI'm. posting some species of our migratory winter visitors that I have photographed over the last few days. Appreciate my efforts to promote Mount Abu.
