Birding In March Mount Abu

24 March 2019.
Went to the duck pond to check out how many of our winter visitors were still there. The small water body was rapidly shrinking into a small pond. I had a chance to see a few ducks there and a BIG BONUS awaited me. I got to photograph a pair of Little Ringed Plovers. In all my years of birding at this place and in Abu, this is the first time this season that I got to photograph this species. I don't believe anyone has reported or photographed this species here before. Was hoping that the pair of Spot-billed ducks was still at the pond, but they had left.
