Birds on Mount Abu in January 2022.
If you’re contemplating birding early in the morning or late in the evening, dress warmly since the climate is crisp and the wintry breeze periodically blows in January. I took the photographs I posted today between 10 January and 13 January 2022.

May this Makar Sankranti shower you with everything. May there be no CORONA in Ur Life.
"HAPPY Makar Sankranti."
14 January 2022.
Mahakar Sankranti was an eventful day for the Indian population as families gathered together in small groups to celebrate the day. The threat of the Pandemic leans over humanity. The birds also take a backseat, as colourful kites like starlings take over the airspace in the cities. I photographed a few birds, but I saw many colourful kites replace the occasional raptor who circles here to look for a meal.
