Birding in December Mount Abu.
The second week of December has flown. Night temperatures have fallen as little as 0 degrees. The birding during this week was not too bad as we had better sunny days. Winter bird-watching has generally been a gratifying experience for me.I have been up early morning withstanding the chill to capture the Peregrine Falcon (Shaheen) and its mate on their courtship manoeuvres. The migratory birds are popular for winter birders. I seek to record as many of the migrants that visit this little abode of ours. I have documented some migratory ducks, warblers and raptors. Experience the choice of birds that I have brought together in the second week of December.

Saw this flock of very agitated crows flying close to the tower and suddenly they began attacking one another. The Falcon from the tower swooped in and the lot dispersed.
