Now that the visitors to our oasis in the desert have petered off I will be covering the few water bodies that we have up here. Yesterday did a spot of birding at the Lower Kodra dam. Credit for the snaps taken goes to my niece Crescentia.

Disappointed at not seeing the pipits and the Red-breasted flycatcher that 
frequent this area, also the absence of the spotted owl and the Indian Scimitar-Babbler.Hopefully,
soon, we will get to see much more of our winter migrants..
