Recording the Migratory birds in the Third week of November 2021.

Continued.

Today the sky opened up and the raptors came a visiting. The Booted Eagle, followed by the Long-legged Buzzard being mobbed by the Black-winged Kite, shortly followed by another Eagle mobbed by two Large-billed Crows. The Common Buzzard made its appearance later, who became a target for the swallows and Martins. The last to make its appearance was the Peregrine Falcon. (Shaheen).

I have observed them in the winter months. They seem to be out of their range. The bird in the background is the Common House-Martin and the one in front above is the Craig Martin.

Recording the Migratory birds in the Third week of November 2021.

We have entered the third week of November. Night conditions are regularly moving down. Last night it touched 6 degrees. This morning got up at 6;30 am, as the household dogs had put on a wailing display when my daughter left for her walk. I looked at the temperature. Recorder. It was 8 degrees. I joined the hounds in the garden to do a spot of birding with the rising sun. I was hoping the falcon would stop by as he usually does on many a dawn. It made my day as the first bird to see in my viewfinder was the Black Redstart, followed by the Red-breasted flycatcher. The chill in the air was invigorating. The throbbing bones of midnight seem to have faded as the radiations of the sun struck over the hilltop to the east of me. I did a bit of birding and only went in when my better half called for breakfast. Appreciate my birding for now.
