At first glance, the Sparrow hawk can be mistaken for a Shikra,
Our winter visitor comes soaring through the sky,
Using his uncanny element of surprise attacks,
Makes off with sparrows or other birds in his path.
His short barred grey wings, and long blunt tail,
Can be guided through the bushy canopy in pursuit of its prey.
