By Mid-October Migratory ducks Visit the Abode. October is one of the best months of the year to visit Mount Abu.
Every year I look forward to these winter visitors. Quite a few migratory birds make their way up to this tiny hill station situated in Rajasthan. Alpine Swift came back in the second week of September. Others are the Long-Tailed Shrike, Sulphur-bellied warbler, common Chiffchaff, Common Rose-finch and a handful of raptors. I’m posting some of the birds mentioned enjoy the pleasure of our feathered friend on this auspicious day. Belgium my favourite team has made it to the semi-finals. I wish them luck and hope they win the CUP. Proost to Belgium.
