Migratory birds I observed in the first week of October 2021.
The raging pandemic appears to be contained. Tourists to Abu have come in hoards at weekends are overcrowded and vehicular movement poses a massive problem during these days. Birding has been not too bad considering quite a few days of overcast skies. Migratory birds are here. Hopefully, by the end of the month, most of our warblers will be present.

Every day I have been observing these Martin's in the beginning I thought they were showing signs of territorial display but I realized it was more of parental feeding young or could it be a display of courtship like that of the Falcon feeding its mate mid-air.

Few migratory ducks had landed here in the first week of September, a sign of early winters here in the Abode. The Grey Wagtail is also one of our first migrants to make it up the hill. I recorded the wagtail on 3 August 2021.
