Information regarding the changed guidelines and protocol to be adhered to from today.


Tourists, please note if you are visiting Mount Abu as a tourist it is mandatory to have an RT-PCR negative report 72 hours before, alternatively, those who have had both doses of the vaccine 28 days ago will be exempt from bringing an RT-PCR negative report. Please check to see if tourists may visit Mount Abu on weekends. I believe from Friday to Sunday there could be restrictions on tourists visiting this lush green Abode of the Gods.

Birding at the moment is low-key. The birds active during this period are the Indian Blackbird, Indian Golden oriole, Green Avadavat, Oriental Honey Buzzard and the Indian bird of Paradise. One also gets to see the Gray Jungle-fowl and the Red spur-fowl.
