Bird watching at Mount Abu in January 2017: Feathered Wonders
Introduction: My wanderlust took me to the stunning scenery of Mount Abu in January 2017, a paradise for environment enthusiasts and bird lovers alike. After spending most of the month in Gujarat, I couldn’t pass up the chance to go birding in the tranquil environs of Mount Abu. Today, I’m going to show you some of the avian delights I saw on my wonderful adventure.
Bird watching is a peaceful pastime, and Mount Abu provides the ideal setting for this soul-soothing exercise. As I proceeded into the unique ecosystems that are home to a plethora of bird species, the clear January air imparted a sense of harmony.
Snapshot Chronicles: Armed with my camera, I set out on a trip to capture these flying wonders’ fleeting moments. The resulting photographs not only serve as a personal record but also as a monument to the region’s diverse avifauna. All shots portray the distinct beauty of Mount Abu’s birds, from brilliant plumage to complex flying patterns.
In my handpicked selection, you can find the vivid colours of Black-lored Tit dancing among the blooms, the majestic flight of Common Buzzard soaring against the azure sky, and the amusing antics of Blue Rock Thrush on the lava rocks of Abu. Each photograph tells a narrative about the untamed elegance that flourishes in Mount Abu’s core.
A Grateful Record: As I share these images with you, I am reminded of how grateful I am to have had the chance to watch and photograph Mount Abu’s special wildlife. May these photographs inspire an appreciation for nature’s delicate balance and signify maintaining such pure environments for future generations.
Conclusion: My short January birding expedition became a treasured chapter in my journey as I basked in Mount Abu’s natural splendour. I hope these glimpses of avian life encourage you to explore the natural beauty that surrounds us and develop a closer relationship with the amazing world of birds. Happy birding till the next outing!
