Abu Road and Environs Birding January and February 2021 mountabubirds.blogspot.com.

Birding Abu Road 27 Jan and 28 Jan 2021.

Every winter Liz (my bitter half)and I try to get away from Mount Abu to avoid the bitter cold experienced during the nights in Abu. This year was no exception my sister who lives in Abu Road had invited us down to stay till it was comfortable to return to Abu. My niece Crescentia, who is an upcoming birder, was thrilled to have us down. I spent most of my birding trips with her and another close mate of ours Mohan a teacher from Abu. Innocentia and her hubby Apurva also accompanied us on quite a few birding trips. It was a genuine pleasure having them along. The excitement generated by the girls on seeing the various birds was a thrill to watch. I really enjoyed watching them snapping away at the many species they had seen for the first time. Credit for a large part of the snaps presented in the next few blogs goes to Cres, who has now gained a passion for birding, Appreciate the various bird species observed and photographed around Abu Road & environs.
