Abu Road and Environs Birding February 2021 mountabubirds.blogspot.com.

Birding in the first week of Feb 2021. Abu Road Rajasthan IN.

Abu Road is perhaps not the best place in India for bird watchers, not like Bharatpur for its variety of migratory and local birds, or Rajasthan’s Dump Yard for Raptors and vultures, yes it’s the ‘Jorbeer Conservation Reserve’, near the Rajasthani city of Bikaner, but for me covering and observing bird of Abu Road hold more sway than any other place as it’s a place where I spent a large part of my youth. I’ve always wanted to record and observe the species in and around Abu Road. I’m glad I could take off one of my bucket list of places I wanted to do birding.
My niece Cres who accompanied me and helped photograph a large part of this collection has vouched to cover and observe as many birds in all seasons throughout the coming years in Abu Road Anyone planning to do a spot of birding in Abu Road do it during the winter months. The summer here is killing. Enjoy the collection: I've put together birds in and around Abu Road.
