Birding last week of April 2022.Mount Abu.
Abu has experienced bouts of forest fires over the last decade or so during high summer. This year, we have already seen several large fires burn down sizeable areas of our jungle. The last week of April is quite early for these large, spontaneous fires to occur. When these fires started, about 20 to 30 large raptors took to the sky and circled the area. Wildfire caused many species, including spotted owls, woodpeckers, and others, to leave their nests and babies. It's frustrating that every year, our precious forest loses both its flora and fauna to the Willies of Hades.
Appreciate or comment on my collection of birds photographed in the last week of April 2022

The different types of morphs of this species have been fascinating.
