Birds of Mount Abu June 2021 mountabubirds.blogspot.com.

Birds of Mount Abu 3 week of June 2021.

Birding during this period was low key. Overcast skies and sultry afternoon sun kept me indoors most of the time. We are still in lockdown as the second wave is still to be contained. Appreciate the small collection I have put together.

To contain the runaway surge of COVID-19, the Rajasthan government will impose a complete lockdown from 5 a.m. on 10 May to May 24.

Birding in the first week of May 2021 was low-key, as during the day the UV in Abu is high because of its elevation. My backyard birding during this second wave was early morning or late evening. If I spotted a buzzard or an eagle during the day, it was a bonus. Appreciate my observations and collection of birds photographed during this period. I see hard days ahead for us common folks in the months to come.
