Kutch to Dwarka Highway

The Highways in Gujarat are better than average in this vast country of ours, our drive from Kutch to Dwarka and from there back home was no exception except for a few places where revamping of deteriorated bridges being replaced. The birds at the various water bodies were a welcoming sight. Enjoy my collection of birds taken on our trip to Dwarka and Gir.

Once commonly seen here, the numbers have declined over the years. This bird is a solitary one, I snapped it in Torna Mt Abu in March 2010.
