Mount Abu Birds in the last week of January 2021.

The selection of photographs that I'm posting is from 22 Jan 2021 till 27 Jan 2021. 27 evening I had lest Mount Abu with my better half to stay the rest of the winter at sister's house in Abu Road. I Will comment more on my Abu Road birding and the adjoining villages and water bodies in my next post.

Thursday the ideal day to pay our favourite "Duck Pond" a visit. We avoid the weekends Friday to Sunday as hordes of tourists ply down the narrow road and it's frustrating making our way to our destination. It surprised us to see that most of the migratory ducks had moved on to some other water body, observed the not so many birds, and did some birding for other migratory birds. Met a young budding birder Hom Patel from Gujarat busy clicking away delightfully at the few ducks that were within shooting distance. Appreciate our observations and the bird pictures of Mount Abu.
