Birding in [ September 2022 ]Mount Abu mountabubirds.blogspot.com

Birding in the first two weeks of September 2021 Mount Abu.

It was utterly drenching for the Abuites from the 1st of July until the end of August because of the monsoon. The weather department predicted one thing, but nature did another and there were overcast days and thunderstorms in August..
There has been a slight lull in tourist activity, but not for long. Weekends are boon days as thousands flock to this abode to enjoy the lush greenery and cool temperatures. Migrant birds have not yet appeared this year. Alpine Swifts, Barn swallows, Eurasian hobby, Harriers, warblers, flycatchers, and ducks haven't yet appeared. Raptors and vultures who visit here have been absent.

Hopefully, I’ll record our winter visitors later in September. Enjoy my collection for the first week of September 2022.
