Lockdown blues and birding views of Mount Abu.

| Overcast skies June |
Birding in June is not as spectacular as in winter, The birder has to be content with overcast skies, gusty winds and a few summers and monsoon migrants, like the Indian Blackbird, Indian Golden oriole, Green Avadavat and the Indian bird of Paradise.
Yesterday, Mt Abu, which prided itself on not having a single case of COVID-19, also succumbed to the virus. We have recorded here a positive case in the abode. Hopefully, with our alert administrative team, the spread of the virus will be nipped in the bud.
I have put together a collection of Abu birds for the first week of June 2020.
