Birding in the First week of April 2023. Mt Abu.

Mount Abu in April is a great place for birdwatchers to see birds in breeding plumage and courtship behaviour. Mount Abu offers birdwatchers the chance to see a variety of avian species during this season, such as the Grey Jungle Fowl, Red Spurfowl, Indian blackbird, common Rosefinch, Green Avadavat, and more.

However, birding might be challenging because of the high number of tourists during this time of year. Birders should schedule their travels to avoid peak visiting times and be mindful of their behaviour in the wild. Maintain a respectful distance from the birds and avoid making loud noises or sudden movements that can scare them. Remember to get professional advice on the finest bird-watching places and times in the area from local guides and tour operators. In April, Mount Abu is perfect for birdwatching, but we should prioritize preserving native bird species amidst tourism. While enjoying the rare bird species in this region, we must also consider the impact of tourism on the environment and work towards reducing any harm.

Birds of Mount Abu last week of March 2023.

The weather in March this year was unprecedented. This has been the most unpredictable spring in years. Day temperatures were below average, and nighttime temperatures were between 5 and 10 degrees. The Eurasian Sparrowhawk, Steppe Eagle, Bonall's Eagle, and Indian Vulture are still here. There were a few ducks, sandpipers, and wagtails. in our favourite water, which we have nicknamed Duck Pond.
